Finding Peace In Nature

Being in nature is the place where I’m fully at peace.

Surrounded by trees, flowers, chirping birds, jumping squirrels, and everything else nature offers is where I feel the most connected to myself, the Earth, and with God.

With all the negativity in the world, nature reminds me of all the beauty and positivity that’s around us every single day.

To many, it’s just the outdoors; but to me, it’s so much more than that. Nature is somewhere I can escape to…no matter how I’m feeling.

It’s a place that heals my soul, re-energizes me, and where I truly feel free and happy.

Even if I’m just in our backyard listening to the birds sing, I feel an inner calmness.

When I was a kid, I enjoyed nature; but I didn’t appreciate it and truly see the beauty in it the way I do today.  Now, I feel drawn to it.

In the years after my mom passed away, being in nature became my escape. And it’s actually where I still felt connected to her. It’s always been a reminder that there’s more to life than what we see.

Being in nature makes me appreciate life. As long as I surround myself with it, I know I’ll be alright.
