I recently tried a recipe for vegan garlic bread that I’d found a couple months ago and bookmarked. I’d been wanting to try this recipe for a while now, and I’m so glad I finally did! It was seriously delicious and was pretty simple to make.
The only ingredients required for this recipe are flour, flax seeds, sugar, instant dried yeast, olive oil, water, salt, and pepper. To be honest, I actually didn’t even use yeast. I didn’t have any instant yeast — I only had the kind that you mix with warm water and sugar, which I’ve never used before — so I just didn’t bother. It did affect the consistency of the bread — obviously it wasn’t super soft and fluffy, but it was an excellent flat bread which was perfect for dipping in hummus! So yummy!
I definitely recommend this recipe if you’re looking for an easy and delicious vegan appetizer/snack!
