Pros: Inexpensive; doesn’t clump; lasts all day; easy to apply.
Cons: Doesn’t dry quickly; thin formula; weak applicator.
My Thoughts: When it comes to e.l.f products, some I love and some not so much. As far as this e.l.f. product goes, I have mixed feelings. It’s certainly not the worst mascara that I’ve ever used, but it’s definitely not the best. Right off the bat, I have to say, I find that the wand/applicator is very weak. When I use this mascara, I have to be careful when inserting the wand into the tube because if I don’t, I feel like it could snap. When I first applied this mascara, the formula was very thin. It didn’t really do much to my lashes, so I added another coat. After two coats, it still was not to my liking, so I added a third coat. Three coats of this mascara does what one or two coats of some of my favourite mascaras do. When I apply this mascara, I like that there doesn’t seem to be any clumping; and the wand makes it easy to apply the mascara to my lashes because it’s simple, and it’s not too big or too small (…just the size of Montreal …just kidding!!). This mascara stays on my lashes pretty well all day, but I find it takes a bit of time for it to completely dry on my lashes. Overall, this mascara is just okay. For the price, I would definitely say this is a decent mascara. I don’t think I’ll repurchase it, though!
Have you tried the Mineral Infused Mascara from e.l.f. If so, what are your thoughts?
