NYX Doll Eye Volume Mascara Review

Today I’m coming to you with another mascara review!  A while ago, I did a review and comparison of two Flower mascaras.  This time, I’ll be reviewing the Doll Eye Volume Mascara from NYX*.  I’ve been using it for the past while and I thought I’d share my opinion on it with you!

A couple months ago, I decided to try out this mascara because for a little while now I haven’t been able to find my favourite Flower mascara anywhere in my city!  I used to buy NYX makeup all the time, but surprisingly I never tried any of their mascaras.  But, I decided to go back and try the Doll Eye Volume Mascara because NYX is cruelty-free and affordable!

The Doll Eye Volume Mascara is made from a blend of natural oils, vitamin E, and nylon fibres, which help to make eyelashes look extra long and full while also conditioning eyelashes to help them remain healthy.

I really love this mascara!  It provides good volume without any clumping, and I find it also makes my lashes look longer!  It’s a very buildable mascara that dries quickly!  Plus, it doesn’t flake!  The only negative thing that I can say about this mascara is that it is not suitable for vegans because it contains beeswax.

I picked up the NYX Doll Eye Volume Mascara from my local drugstore for $11.99, and for that price there’s 0.28 oz of mascara — which is a standard price and size of mascara.  NYX also offers this mascara formula in waterproof and lengthening formats.

Here are some pros and cons of this mascara!

Provides good volume; makes lashes look full
No clumping
Dries quickly
No flaking

Not vegan (contains beeswax)

I really like this mascara!  I’m going to continue to use it up and I’ll probably repurchase it!  I definitely recommend it if you’re looking for a good cruelty-free, drugstore mascara!

*Note: NYX is cruelty-free; however, its parent company is not.
