The Body Shop Shea Nourishing Whipped-Lotion Review

TBS_SheaLotion

So, a while ago I purchased the Shea Nourishing Whipped-Lotion from The Body Shop*.  I picked it up — along with some other items — when The Body Shop was having a pretty good sale.  I’ve been using it ever since, and I thought I would share my thoughts on it with you!

The Shea Nourishing Whipped-Lotion from The Body Shop is one of the most moisturizing body lotions I’ve ever used!  It absorbs quickly, is not greasy, and is perfect for dry skin.  It leaves my skin really soft and hydrated!  I like to apply this lotion as soon as I get out of the shower because I feel like that’s when it’s best absorbed and will leave my skin extra soft.

I really like the scent of this body lotion because it’s quite light.  I find it smells a bit nutty and, in my opinion, is a good scent for both men and women!

The Shea Nourishing Whipped-Lotion contains 250 ml of product and comes in a plastic pump container.  I got this lotion for $7.50 CAD because The Body Shop was having a sale, but it usually costs $15 CAD, which I feel is expensive for only 250 ml of body lotion.  I don’t think I would buy it at full price.

Here are some pros and cons of the Shea Nourishing Whipped-Lotion!

Pros:
Cruelty-free
Moisturizing
Good for extra dry skin
Nice light scent
Good scent for both men and women
Absorbs quickly
Not greasy
Convenient pump container

Cons:
Somewhat expensive

Overall, I really love the Shea Nourishing Whipped-Lotion from The Body Shop!  I think I would definitely repurchase it, but only if I got it on sale again.

Have you tried the Shea Nourishing Whipped-Lotion from The Body Shop?  What are your thoughts?

*Note: The Body Shop is cruelty-free; however, its parent company is not.
