The Body Shop Tea Tree Skin Clearing Facial Wash Review

TBS_TeaTree_FacialCleanser

Today I’m going to be sharing a brief review of the Tea Tree Skin Clearing Facial Wash from The Body Shop*.  I’ve been using this facial wash for a while now and I really like it!

The Tea Tree Skin Clearing Facial Wash is an excellent, good-quality cleanser suitable for daily use.  It does a good job of cleansing skin and removes any oil that could cause potential breakouts.  This facial wash is not harsh and it lathers really well.  It’s also suitable for blemished and sensitive skin, and is made with tea tree oil — which is excellent for all skin types, including acne-prone skin.

This facial wash is really great, which is why it’s one of The Body Shop’s bestsellers!  The only negative to this facial wash is that, I find, it has somewhat of a strong scent; however, the scent doesn’t linger once the facial wash is rinsed off.  I also wish this facial wash came with a pump lid, just for more convenience!

I like to use the Tea Tree Skin Clearing Facial Wash once a day at the end of the day.  I use it in conjunction with the Tea Tree Skin Clearing Toner and together they really help my skin.  I don’t really have acne prone skin or super oily skin, but I do sometimes get the occasional spot.  This facial wash really helps keep that in check, so that I rarely get any spots.

The Tea Tree Skin Clearing Facial Wash comes in a plastic container.  It costs $15 CAD, and for that price you get 250 ml of product.

Here are some pros and cons of the Tea Tree Skin Clearing Facial Wash.

Pros:
Cruelty-free
Cleans skin
Suitable for blemished skin
Suitable for sensitive skin
Removes oil
Not harsh
Lathers well
Suitable for daily use
Made with tea tree oil — which is great for skin

Cons:
Pricey
Strong scent

Overall, I really like this facial wash!  It works really well with my skin.  I have sensitive skin, and this facial wash doesn’t affect it negatively at all.  I highly recommend this facial wash to everyone!

Have you tried the Tea Tree Skin Clearing Facial Wash?

*Note: The Body Shop is cruelty-free; however, its parent company is not.
