Daily Defence Argan Oil Shampoo and Conditioner Review

Today I’m going to be briefly reviewing the Daily Defence Argan Oil Shampoo and Conditioner.  I picked these up a while ago and I’ve since tested them out.

I was browsing at Dollar Tree last month, which is literally one of my favourite stores, and I saw that they had Daily Defence shampoos and conditioners.  I’d heard such great things about this brand and I knew it was cruelty-free.  So I decided to pick up a bottle of the shampoo and a bottle of the conditioner, which were $1.25 each for 473 mL of product!

As impressed as I was with the price of the shampoo and conditioner, and all the good reviews I heard, I didn’t really like them that much, to be honest.  I will say that they smell good and they did clean my hair and leave it moisturized, but I found that my hair didn’t stay as clean as long.  I can usually go a good three days without washing my hair and it won’t be oily at all, but when I used this shampoo and conditioner I felt like my hair was dirty the next day, which I did not enjoy.  I think I’m going to test them out again in another month or two to see if maybe I’ll have a different result.

Inexpensive ($1.25 for 473 mL)
Made in Canada
Smells good

Left my hair oily

I really wanted to like the Daily Defence Argan Oil Moisturizing Shampoo and Conditioner because they were so inexpensive and are cruelty-free.  They weren’t terrible, but I’ve definitely used way better cruelty-free shampoos and conditioners.  Maybe you get what you pay for!

Have you tried this shampoo and conditioner?  What do you think?
