Alba Botanica Natural Hawaiian Oil Free Moisturizer Review

So I’m going to be doing yet another cruelty-free product review for you guys!  Today, as the title says, I’m going to be reviewing the Alba Botanica Natural Hawaiian Oil Free Moisturizer!

This moisturizer is my everyday moisturizer.  I apply every morning and night.  I find it does a really good job of moisturizing my skin, and because it’s oil free, I don’t have to worry about breaking out.  I don’t really have super oily or acne-prone skin, but I don’t like using any product that’s heavy or greasy on my face.  This Alba Botanica Moisturizer is quite light, sinks in very quickly, and it doesn’t leave my skin looking oily.  It also has a very light, pleasant scent to it.

The Alba Botanica Natural Hawaiian Oil Free Moisturizer contains refining aloe and green tea and is hypo-allergenic.  It’s also pH balanced, contains 100% vegetarian ingredients, and is not tested on animals.  In addition to all of this, Alba Botanica is also Leaping Bunny certified.

I bought this moisturizer at Walmart for $15.97 CAD and it contains 85g of product.  Compared to a lot of other facial moisturizers, I personally find that this is a relatively reasonable cost, considering it is cruelty-free and natural.  This moisturizer comes in a small cylindrical plastic container that is recyclable.

Here are some pros and cons of the Alba Botanica Natural Hawaiian Oil Free Moisturizer:

Pros:
Not tested on animals
100% vegetarian ingredients
Hypo-allergenic
pH balanced
Leaping Bunny certified
Light and non greasy
Good for oily skin
Sinks in quickly
Recyclable packaging

Cons:
A little bit pricey ($15.97 CAD for 85g of product)

I hope this review was helpful!  Let me know what your favourite cruelty-free moisturizers are!
