The Body Shop Moringa Body Butter Review

For today’s blog post, I thought I’d do a review of The Body Shop’s Moringa Body Butter.

My skin is always dry in the winter, so I like to apply a good body butter before I go to sleep.  A few months ago, I tried the moringa scented body butter and I really liked it!  I decided to get the jumbo size because it was on sale for $16.

When I first smelled this body butter in its container, I did not like the scent at all.  But when I applied it to my skin and rubbed it in, it left a nice scent.  This body butter is perfect if you like floral scents; however, it’s pretty scented, so it’s not good for everyone, especially if you tend to get headaches from certain scents.  This body butter is quite thick and creamy, like other body butters from The Body Shop; however, it’s pretty greasy, so I find the best time to use it is before bed.  I will say that it does sink into skin relatively quickly, but I find it too thick to wear during the day.  This body butter feels really nice when applied to my skin and it leaves my skin really soft.  I really like it!

The Moringa Body Butter is available at The Body Shop in three different sizes.  The Body Shop offers it, as well as other scents, in mini, regular, and jumbo sizes.  The mini size is $6 CAD, the regular size is $21 CAD, and the jumbo size is $34 CAD.

Here are some pros and cons of the Moringa Body Butter:

Thick and creamy
Sinks into skin quickly
Leaves skin soft

Not vegan
Strong floral scent

I hope you guys enjoyed this review!  Let me know if you’ve tried this body butter or any other body butters from The Body Shop!
