Today, as you can tell from the title, I want to do a short review of the Vitamin C Cleansing Cloths from Global Beauty Care.
A while ago, I found these cleansing cloths at my local Winners. I had never heard of the brand, Global Beauty Care, so I decided to check it out. I’d been looking for the perfect cruelty-free cleansing cloths/makeup removing wipes for a while. I really like the Seventh Generation Facial Wipes, but they’re hard to find where I live, so I haven’t bought them in a long time.
I was surprised how relatively inexpensive these cleansing cloths were. They were $6.99 for a pack of 60, which is by far the best price I’ve seen for cleansing cloths/facial wipes. I was really pleased to see that it said “Not tested on animals” on the back. I thought I’d give these cleansing cloths a try, so I bought them.
On the package, it claims that these cleansing cloths “help to stimulate collagen synthesis and skin cell regeneration.” Awesome, right! I have no idea if these cleansing cloths are doing that, but they feel nice on my skin and they left my skin moisturized! What I don’t like about these cleansing cloths is that they don’t seem that moist, so I needed to use two to three, even to remove light makeup. I would say that’s the only real negative to these cleansing cloths. Other than that, they moisturized my skin and left it soft. And they do remove makeup, if several are used.
Here are some pros and cons of the Global Beauty Care Vitamin C Cleansing Cloths:
– Not tested on animals
– 60 cleansing cloths per pack
– Left skin feeling soft
– Not very moist
– Had to use several to remove light makeup
I’m not sure I would recommend these cleansing cloths. I don’t like the idea that I can’t just use one; it seems a bit wasteful. I don’t regret buying them because they were relatively decent, but I don’t think I would repurchase them.
Have you guys tried these? Do you have any cruelty-free makeup removing wipe suggestions?
