Tarte Tartelette Amazonian Clay Matte Palette Review

Today I’m going to be sharing with you my thoughts on the Tarte* Tartelette Amazonian Clay Matte Palette.  I got this palette this past Christmas, and I’ve been trying it out ever since.

I’ve had my eye on this palette for a while, but I never bought it because it’s pretty pricey (not as pricey as some other palettes, but pricey nonetheless).  It’s my first palette from Tarte, and I was (and am) so excited to have received it!  I’m not someone who buys a tonne of makeup, so when I do get some, I really use it!

This palette is from Sephora and it was $54 CAD.  It’s a gorgeous eyeshadow palette that features 12 different matte shades.  These eyeshadows are free of parabens, phthalates, mineral oil, sodium, and gluten.  The colour pigmentation is absolutely gorgeous and the eyeshadows blend so easily.  I love that all the colours in this palette all work together, so it’s a versatile palette, allowing me to combine any colours that I want to without looking crazy!

The packaging is beautiful; the eyeshadows come in a reflective-type compact with a purple top.  The palette also features an awesome mirror inside that really shows detail.  It’s a relatively small palette (yet provides a tonne of eyeshadow), so it doesn’t take up a lot of space in my makeup collection.

Tarte is one of my favourite makeup brands!  I love that this company makes good-quality, cruelty-free makeup, free of parabens.

12 matte eyeshadows
No parabens
No Phthalates
No mineral oil, sodium, or gluten
Great colour pigmentation
Gorgeous colours that all work well together

Have you guys tried this palette?  What do you think of it?  Have you tried the new Tartelette In Bloom Clay Eyeshadow Palette?

*Note: Tarte is cruelty-free; however, its parent company is not.
