Today I’m going to be doing a review of Down Under Natural’s Hypoallergenic shampoo and conditioner. I’ve been trying out this shampoo and conditioner for the last little while and I wanted to share my thoughts on them with you.
I picked up this shampoo and its matching conditioner at Walmart a couple months ago. I was just about to head to the checkout with all of my soon-to-be purchases, when I saw a rack of these huge bottles of shampoos and conditioners from Down Under Natural’s for $4.34 CAD each! I was really impressed with the price, so I opened up a bottle to smell it and I really liked the scent. I decided to toss both the shampoo and conditioner into the cart and I purchased them.
Both the shampoo and conditioner are 1 L/34 U.S. fl. oz. and each have a pump dispenser, which I love! The shampoo smells really good! I think the scent is supposed to be coconut and orchids, and I have to say, I definitely get that scent when I smell the shampoo! Both the shampoo and conditioner cleaned my hair well, washed out of my hair very easily, and seemed to leave my hair soft and shiny. The conditioner also, in my opinion, does a good job of detangling my hair. The only negative is the shampoo and conditioner are pretty thin/watery. I usually enjoy a thicker shampoo and condition because, to me, it means a more hydrating product. However, I find this shampoo and conditioner to be just as hydrating as some other drugstore shampoos and conditioners. Overall, I have really enjoyed this shampoo and conditioner!
Here are some pros and cons of the products:
Environmentally-friendly; 95% biodegradable
Leaves hair soft and shiny
Easily available (in Canada)
Kind of thin/watery
Very large container; takes up space in the shower
As you can see, the pros definitely outweigh the cons. I really liked this shampoo! I think it was a really good buy from Walmart! I would definitely purchase it again!
I hope you enjoyed my review of Down Under Natural’s Hypoallergenic shampoo and conditioner! I hope it was informative and helpful to you! Let me know if you’ve tried anything from Down Under Natural’s! What are your thoughts?
